The Institute of Chartered Accountants of Sri Lanka, more commonly known as CA Sri Lanka, takes great pride in being the change makers of Sri Lanka’s accounting arena. For over 60 years, CA Sri Lanka has been the vanguard in developing the accounting profession in the country, while also playing a critical role in South Asia to ensure the profession continues to be an important catalyst in the success of the region.

Chartered Accountants produced by CA Sri Lanka are considered a brand of unique and versatile professionals, with the ability to steer businesses across multiple industries successfully. A significant percent of Chartered Accountants produced by CA Sri Lanka play an influential role across the dynamic corporate world holding distinguished leadership and board positions.

Identified as the torch bearers of the accountancy profession in the country, CA Sri Lanka was established in the year 1959 by an Act of Parliament and was the first professional accountancy body to be incorporated in the country.

Today, CA Sri Lanka has taken over the reins as an influential world class professional body to provide insight and leadership to the accountancy and finance professions both in Sri Lanka as well as globally. In its standing as the sole authority to promulgate accounting and auditing standards, CA Sri Lanka has also played a remarkable role in helping enhance the financial landscape in Sri Lanka.

CA Sri Lanka has forged ties across the international accounting arena and is a member of the International Federation of Accountants (IFAC), Confederation of Asian and Pacific Accountants (CAPA), founder member of the South Asian Federation of Accountants (SAFA), and an associate member of Chartered Accountants Worldwide (CAW).

About The National Conference of Chartered Accountants of Sri Lanka

A landmark concept founded by CA Sri Lanka in the year 1979, the National Conference is dubbed as Sri Lanka's biggest business summit attracting over 2000 delegates annually.

The National Conference attracts an unprecedented number of delegates every year, including Chartered Accountants who are business leaders and c-suite executives.

Over the years, the National Conference has built a reputation as a business summit which provokes thoughts and spurs insights on broad economic and business issues, apart from its core emphasis on finance related topics.

The conference is a flagship event of CA Sri Lanka and is also one of the most sought-after corporate events which facilitates the exchange of profound expertise with local and foreign resource persons annually.
